A Brief History

    This work is a continuation and modernization of a work previously done by Brother Tommy Hodge who wrote, over a three year period of time, numerous weekly articles that were published locally in a newspaper.  It was decided to have these articles compiled, bound, published in a book entitled "What Saith the Scriptures", and distributed to those desiring to learn more about the Bible in general and the Church of Christ in specific.

    Thousands of these books have been sent out over the last several years.  With the cost of printing and postage continually rising, it was decided to modernize our approach to spreading the gospel.  To this end, we ultimately will be editing the entire work of Brother Hodge (recently deceased), and formatting it to be accessed electronically by the world via the internet.  Any and all of the articles of this web site may freely be copied and distributed.  Any questions or feedback on this work would be greatly appreciated, simply use the email link on the home page.
